Tia Jarrett
Tia Jarrett grew up in Los Angeles, California and has been dancing since she was 2 years old. She started dancing at Retter’s Academy of Dance and trained in styles such as ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, and contemporary. Under the artistic direction of Darryl Retter and Linda Bernabei Retter, Tia intensified her training as a member of the Rhythm Machine Company from ages 7 to 18, where she fell deeper in love with performance, choreography, and teaching.
Tia Jarrett attended Chapman University as a dance major and continued her studies, primarily focused on modern dance, Broadway jazz, and ballet. She has now moved back to LA, and trains regularly with industry professionals at studios such as Millennium Dance Complex and TMilly Studios. Tia has been featured in MusicWorks Educational Videos, music videos with recording artist Mykel, “Monday Night Live” at Dance Excellence, and various collegiate performances such as “Chapman Celebrates” and “Cinderella.” Miss Jarrett has also been granted many prestigious scholarships over the years, including Chapman University Presidential Scholarship (2022-2023), Winston Hemsley Memorial Scholarship (2021-2022), Joe Tremaine Solo Scholarship (2019-2020), and numerous regional and national overall team and individual recognitions.
Tia has recently been signed to the prestigious Go2Talent Agency and will now embark on her professional dance and teaching career. Her knowledge, skill, expertise, musicality, and kind approach will empower your dancer. Tia Jarrett is thrilled to be “back home” at RAD Dance and looks forward to teaching your dancer.
