EMILY VALENZUELA
Emily Valenzuela grew up in Moorpark California and has been dancing since she was seven years old. She began training under Pam Rossi's Dance Ten Studio with ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary and lyrical being her main areas of focus. At the age of thirteen, she entered the competition dance world as well as being involved in the Moorpark Civic Ballet "The Nutcracker" for multiple years. Upon entering high school, Emily also trained with Moorpark High School's Varsity Dance Team. Miss Valenzuela was accepted into the American Musical and Dramatic Academy where she worked with professionals such as Adam Parson, Mackenzie Martin, Genevieve Carson, Marc Spaulding, Yusuf Nasir, Kyle McHargh, and many more Industry professionals.
There she was exposed to a wide range of dance styles including classical ballet, hip hop, jazz funk, modern, Bollywood, and musical theatre/broadway. Emily received numerous opportunities, including "In-House" dancer/mentor under Emily Lutes, performing in Choreographer's Carnival under Chelsea Collins, and performing with a variety of LA top artists. She has recently been furthering her studies and training at Grand Canyon University as a Dance Education major. We welcome Emily to RAD!
